On the another side, Ex- army chief, as the head of the anonymous “secret circle” already kept a surveillance over alchemist and people related to him. When feudal lord deployed a detachment of his personal sentries for the security of the workshop, it pricked the ears of the ex- army chief. A clear message was perceived by him that some achievement of significance been obtained by the Alchemist. He stayed for some days to watch the further activities and after a week , he called for a private meeting with great king Montana Mustachia. The information of detachment of private sentinels for the security of workshop too made King Montana Mustachia extremely excited. It was enough to raise a curiosity as what a new thing thing this young Alchemist had succeeded to invent or discovered in his lab that needed high security.
The Great King expressed his suspicion before the ex- army chief in the private conclave, ” Hey ex- chief, on coming to know about this security arrangement around the workshop, so many doubts and thought s are summoning to my mind. First most idea is; it seems, young Alchemist has succeeded in obtaining the “secret metal” (gold.) Most probably this has prompted feudal lord Magatee to arrange this security for that purpose. The second thought is related to his succeeding in mastering or enslaving some ghost or Jini. This presumption is much more perilous. Since this mastering of ghost can enhance the powers of feudal lord Magatee in an unbalanced way. Third presumption is; if first two are not true then what is another significant achievement?
The Ex- army Chief, who in fact was the head of the anonymous “secret circle” heard the opinion the great King calmly. Then nodding his head he spoke with a deliberation,” His Highness, the great king of the earth! I too had the similar conception in my mind as that my over Lord just expressed. By keeping all those facts in my mind, I in advanced allured two of sentinels in the detachment with a greedy offer to relate every information to us. They were asked to inform, in the dark of the night, when workshop is supposed to remain devoid of any human’s presence if they were to notice any movement or sound from inside the premise.
The report sent by them clearly indicates, there were found no any movement or type of some sound emanating from inside the premise of the workshop. This clearly erase the doubt about any invoking of ghost or Jin. For to invoke a ghost a “nightly ritual” is almost needed. Secondly, if there happened to present any sort of “black unnatural power” inside the premise, they were suppose to move or scuffle or tussle inside the premise That in consequence were certain to produce some noise. Yes! It is possible, young alchemist may probably succeeded in obtaining the ” secret metal” (gold.) May be, as Your Highness expressed the view, some another significant invention been achieved by the Alchemist.
Otherwise also, we are constantly watching every move of feudal lord Magatee for last so may days. For some days he is looking so overwhelmed with cheeriness. This makes obvious, something new been obtained by his son-in-law and about the success of that he certainly is hopeful to a great extent. Along with, no any new contact with outsider is visible in his activities. He is happily engrossed with old friend circle. This indicates no any challenge from his side to the authority of the King.” After giving this detail, Ex-army chief maintained a silence.
After a while great king began. ” it surprises me, why till this day, why feudal lord Magatee found it not appropriate to inform us about this all development inside the workshop? If our presumption is correct.”
Ex-army Chief suggested,” O! Great king of the earth! To me it seems, his son-in-law has inhibited him not to inform so early. This young man is an Alchemist. May be, he is still pondering over other aspects of his achievement. My suggestion is, great king should assume a composure for some days to come. I assure you, our other agencies are competent enough to suppress any conspiracy against the King’s authority, if there is any. Though I don’t find any probability in that account. Further , for days to come, we need to put a vigilant eye over the entire development and wait for the movement of feudal lord Magattee in this respect. If after a lapse of certain period of time, feudal lord doesn’t contact the King’s court then only some action be taken against him.
His Highness! We are bound to consider all aspects; as I already expressed my opinion in the last meeting, we can’t take the steps to discourage our this prolific class of alchemists as a whole. Any action taken in haste and without profound deliberation may spoil the interest of our kingship, My Over Lord! For rest of any suspicions, my great king should remain free of worries.
