In accordance to the stipulated plan, at that night, the old trusted maid were relieved. Instead, feudal lord Magatee stayed with his wife whole night alone as attendant. The very day when she fell again to deep sleep, with oncoming night she resumed to her normalcy up to certain given circumstances. But some where, deep in her mind and heart, she was unable to get riddance from the perception of not encountering with some apparition. The feudal lord Magatee consoled her , made her understand and realized to the given ground reality situation by showering her with love and affection that whatever experience she encountered were only an “illusion.”
Along with, he in details also described to her about the “new invention” and its first impression over the mind of first time spectator. The every minute detail, he tried to stuff into the mind of the old lady, that had been provided by his daughter and son-in-law before hand. In sooth, feudal lord Magatee by himself anxious to get encountered with this new invention. The description of ” the clear reflection of image” his daughter and son-in-law had related to him was making him eager to the extinction. He by himself was anxious to realize, ” how in fact he looks like?” The same arguments cogently he poured into the mind of his old wife.
Finally, with a gradual brainwashing, he succeeded to erase out the “misconception” from the mind of his wife. The dawn of the next morning was so thrilling for every member of the family, as if, they were to launch on for some unique “adventure.” All they prepared in their best costumes and headed on to the “workshop.” Alchemist in advance had left the house for the workshop. He did this on purpose. He was to fix and adjust the mirror to such an angle, so it produced the best effective reflective image. He intended, there should not occur any interruption in his demo.
On arriving of rest of the family members in the special chamber of the workshop, he firstly instructed his in-laws to get positioned at some slant angle. This were the positioning, they could ably watch the “reflective images” of others who stood before the mirror only. At the first, young man behested his young wife to come before the mirror. Feudal lord Magatee and old wife clearly watched the the crystal clear image of daughter in the mirror. Now alchemist asked her to move her limbs and move fro and past. She followed the instructions. The same imaged were reflected in the mirror.
After that, young alchemist by himself moved ahead and stood beside his wife. Now the image of couple were clearly discernible in the mirror. To feudal lord Magatee and his wife watching this all were like experiencing a splendid, unseen, unprecedented phenomena of the life. Perhaps, to them it was the most unique phenomena of the nature occurring before the eyes. Now Alchemist with a graceful honor requested his father-in-law lord Maagatee to step ahead and be stood before the mirror. No doubt, feudal lord Magatee was an old man, but his physical appearance and persona was imperious one. Along with, today he was attired in best costumes.
Hesitatingly, he positioned himself before the mirror and looked at himself. The first impression generated in his mind was, as if, he was looking at some magnificent feudal lord, unknown to him. Alchemist now requested him to give a twitch his mustache. He did the same and the same was reflected in the mirror.
“Hey father! How splendid you found your own image? This is yourself and you look like this! If you don’t believe me, you can verify it from mother and daughter. Young Alchemist enthusiastically chirped. Feudal lord threw a questioning glance at wife and daughter who stood at a distance. Both they with a joyous chirping too seconded the view of Young Alchemist. The truth was, never before this feudal lord Magatee was aware of the fact that his persona was so impressive. He, captivated by his own image kept on looking at his own image. On the other hand, old lady too was dying wit a surge of eagerness to look at herself before the mirror.
Old lady had forgotten that just on yesterday she too had witnessed her own image before the same mirror. But at that time circumstances were different. At that time she was badly scared finding some old woman (her own image) behind her own daughter. Those scary moments had distorted her facial expressions to an ugly look. Secondly, she took that as that of some witch and that thoughts in seconds led her to fall onto the floor unconscious. Now situation were different. Father stood there before the mirror lost in himself, engrossed in his own imperious looks.
The daughter implored the father to provide the opportunity to mother to look into the mirror. Stifling his desire old man stepped aside from the front of the mirror and old wife occupied his place. Today, she was properly attired like a royal lady. When she looked at her self with a “constant mind set up,” she at once too became self-captivated. The same impression, as mirror happens to produce over our ladies in day to day life and she was experiencing this as a first time experiment in life. She was in her utter rapture; transported to a new divine world.
When for long, old lady displayed no sign to move from before the mirror, feudal lord Magatee too couldn’t contain himself. He too got positioned on her side. When couple found both of them in mirror, at once they fell in a “transitional love” for each other. In the mirror they were lost in the eyes of each other. They forgot, in the same chamber, their daughter and son-in-law are present in person. But Young Alchemist and his wife, both had already passed through this captivating experience of the mirror. They had a thin line of smile at the face by looking at this all. Silently both stole to another room. Need not say, old couple kept on standing before mirror for hours in looking at one another.
When “spell” of mirror broke, it was the fall of the evening. This was the time, when on the ticking of the body clock, Alchemist every day happened to leave for his evening stroll. Prior to the leaving for the evening stroll, Alchemist took old couple into confidence and forced them to confide for not disclosing this secret to any other person. It was essential, for until and unless Great King Montana was not informed through proper channel, this secret was to be kept utterly “secretive.” From that evening on wards, Feudal lord Magatee arranged a special sentinel detachment to secure the work shop round the day and night.
