Here, back in the in-law’s house, young Alchemist prompted his father-in-law, the feudal lord Magatee to arrange a private meeting with the great king. The purpose was simple. It was to acquaint him about the new invention. Feudal lord Magatee by himself was excited to relate about that to the great king. This occasion might provide him an opportunity to meet with the king in solitary. Otherwise, he happened to find the opportunities merely to exchange greetings with king in the King’s court only. To say, he was a feudal lord, but the territory of the king was so vast and a good deal of numbers of other feudal lords already were there to register their presence.
In the eyes of common people he was a man of repute, but in King’s Court’s hierarchy he lagged behind. This “new invention” too had kindled a hope in his mind that if king became satisfied by the outcome of the new invention, he could have blessed him with some “special position” in the king’s court. Now, his daughter and son-in-law began to give him tutorial lessons in a separate session, as to how and in what manner, he was supposed to expatiate about the outcome of the new invention, before the great king. On the other hand, the great king by himself was tremendously anxious to have a sitting with feudal lord Magatee, in the light of the information delivered by the ex-army chief.
On receiving the supplication of feudal lord for a private meeting, the great king at the first instance intimated ex-army chief about the “request to meet” with king. There, it was decided, when feudal lord would have a dialogue with the great king, the presence of ex-army chief in all certitude had to be confirmed there. Great King sent errand to feudal lord Magatee to be present in person on a certain evening at the King’s palace. Fraught with excitement, on the appointed evening feudal lord mounted on his favorite horse and reached to the King’s palace. With due honor he was ushered to the king’s conference chamber. There great king was waiting for him accompanied with ex-army chief. After exchange of formal greetings and regal formalities, like acceptance of gift brought by feudal lord Magatee, the conference proceeded on.
Feudal lord Magatee, in his mind reiterating every dialogue regard the introduction of the speech, taught to him by daughter and son-in-law. Apart from, he was strongly instructed to assume a composed stature when delivering the details about the new invention. When all three began about the topic, feudal lord began composedly, ” O! Great King! I am here to relate about a unique invention of my efficient son-in-law.”
This information at once helped to assuage all suspicions from the minds of both, the great king and his ex-army chief which they had falsely fostered in the mind about Alchemist and feudal lord Magatee. Not only this, it also helped king to admire the broad thinking of his ex-army chief, who had advised him not to take some inappropriate action in haste on the reporting. The ex-army chief too had suggested to wait for some days to come about the behavorial pattern of feudal lord Magatee and his son-in-law. Now king said-
” In all certitude feudal lord Magatee. It’s felicitous to hear about your this tiding. Kindly, give us a detailed description about the “new invention” of your son-in-law.” King spoke sententiously. Feudal lord now began, ” O! Great King! Till this day, what ever type of our personal image is, we happen to look about, that we try to find in a stable water surface contained in a vessel in shape of a dim reflection. But that image is never clear as we are looking clearly at one another. For example, I am able to look at both of you great persons and find your personality impressive. Likely to that, you both the are looking at me, but what about myself own clear image to me, I can not find. I don’t know how exactly I look like?”
The great King Montana Mustachia and his ex-army chief, both by suppressing their excitement and externally assuming a composure were listening this narration. But whatever, feudal lord Magatee was trying to explain was somewhat confusing to them. Feudal lord Magatee proceeded on, ” Hey Great King! If an invention is made in which every person could find his own clear image and know how exactly he looks then what name His Highness will give to that?”
Both, the great king and ex-army chief had confusing expressions floating on their faces. Feudal lord Magatee continued, “O! Great King! My son-in- law has invented a device that produces the exact shiny image of the person who stands before the device. I mean, a person can come to know by himself, in person, how he looks like? It’s an astounding invention His Highness; if the great king happens to stand in singular before the device, only your own image will be reflected. But if you both the great persons appear before the device, the exact reflection of you both great men be reflected collectively in the device. Not only this, if a person desires to find how his side flank or profile looks like, that is also visible.
Further, if you stand between two sheets of the the invention, you can find your both profiles. I mean, your front front and dorsal side vision .If you continue to look further, you will also find multiple numbers of your own images between these two sheets.” Here feudal lord Magatee stopped.
“Amazing! Feudal lord Magatee, your description sounds somewhat near to impossible to me. How it can be possible?” Great King exclaimed. On that feudal lord submissively said, ” The Great King! This has been substantiated. Merely one setback to this device is. This device is so tender and fragile and needs to be cared with soft hands. If fallen on the floor or hit by some hard object, it gets pulverized into thousand pieces.” No sooner, feudal lord Magatee told of invention being tender and fragile and get pulverized to pieces, it recalled to him of his first reporting by ex- army chief about the young Alchemist invention. This again made him to admire the efficiency of his ex-army chief about gleaning information secretively.
“Is that invention is extremely fragile feudal lord Magatee?” Great King asked.
” No my Overlord! Not so much! Only, it has to be handled with care. If taken care cautiously, it can last for years. This is the opinion of my son-in-law His Highness.”
“I would like to have a look at your this invention feudal lord. You have raised my curiosity to the extinction.” Great King behested.
“It’s all right my Over lord! I bag your apology for my insolence beforehand. If the great king take the pain to visit the workshop of my son-in-law forenoon tomorrow.” Feudal lord implored.
” Of course, I will be there feudal lord and shall be accompanied by my trusted ex-army chief.” King gave the verdict and after that feudal lord Magatee took the leave.
