Unbridled story (Part 16th)—

(Recap — In the last ongoing part we read, how feudal lord Magatee related to the great king Montana Mustachia about the “new invention” of his son-in- law …..)

On the next forenoon, the great king Montana accompanied by his ex-army chief and with entourage arrived at the abode of the feudal lord Magatee. After being received with all the royal protocol, both they were ushered inside the house and were requested to occupy a place in a cozy chamber. At the same time, young Alchemist in his “workshop” was prepared to demonstrate his “new invention” with a theatrical presentation. The young alchemist had decided to repeat the same old pattern that he already had applied to his father-in- law a few days ago.

He had the same plan in his mind. Firstly,  he was to station the great king and his companion at a distant angle, from where they could watch only, the reflecting images of other person stood before the “new invention. ( from now onward, the term “mirror” is to be used for the “new invention” barring the needed syntax.) At this time, a slight change was given to the experiment.  Now, Alchemist was not to pose himself before the mirror but the feudal lord Magatee. In the next step, his old wife was scheduled to join him to display how the images of couple reflect in the mirror.

Young Alchemist was assured that through this demo the great king Montana Mustachia was in a certitude to get convinced with his core of heart and mind. When feudal lord and his wife were supposed to complete  the demo, after that great king was to be solicited to present himself before the mirror. Here, in demo the young Alchemist too could use the opportunity by himself but he was a farsighted chap. He knew, the demo given by his father-in-law was to generate an another kind of effect. As told, he was ascertained about the success of the demo but along with he too intended that his father in law must come in lime light before the king and get benefited.

In accord with planning, the great king stepped inside the workshop accompanied by ex-army chief. With a given importance the procedural demo begun.  The main intent of the Alchemist was to observe silently the changing expressions at the faces of  great king and his companion. By going through this observation of psychological impact, he was supposed to read and anticipate his golden future. And Lo! Everything went on in accord with the same psychological anticipation as young Alchemist had expected. When  great king and his companion watched   from a distant angle, the clear images being reflected in the mirror of feudal lord Magatee and his wife, the pupil of their eyes dilated in astonishment. Both they were astounded by this magical experience.

This was what the young Alchemist needed as an outcome. Now feudal lord with a decorous protocol implored to great king to present himself before the mirror. Till this moment, great king by himself was dying with avidity  to experience the magical phenomenon. The same to same reflected images of feudal lord and his wife had rose a great desire  in himself as ,” in what way I was to look like in the mirror?” This anxiety has risen to the acme in his heart. On the feudal lord’s request with an agility he stepped forward and stood before the mirror.

The great  king Montana Mustachia was at once stunned by looking at his own reflected image in the mirror. Before him stood a highly impressive, decorous, robust king with all the signs of royalties. The thick beard and sharp, stylish mustaches was highlighting the face. It seemed to him, as if, an imperious royal person attired in costly royal costumes was looking at him. It was hard for him to believe that it was his own image being reflected. Feudal lord by his own past first time experience with the mirror at once caught the emotions of the king. He knew, it was hard for king to accept that it was he by himself being reflected in the mirror. It provided him a golden opportunity for adulation to the great king.

Feudal lord Magatee by mixing a honey like tone, sonorously made a glib, ” Hey great king on the Earth! This is the exact great appearance of His Highness being reflected in the mirror! How wonderful and impressive our Lord looks in reality, the same is being reflected in the mirror His Highness!” The same feelings already had fraught the great king. Since, in the demo, the exact reflection of feudal lord and of his wife he already had watched. But the fact, he owned such an impressive and imperious looks was the first ever experience of his life being realized to him so clearly. He was in the state of self- enamored illusion. This feeling had filled his heart with emotional impulses.

He felt proud of his persona, the tender sentiments had moistened his eyes. No doubt, he was the king of his territory and as king he had an untold claim on every thing present on his territorial kingdom. But the experiences he experienced had surged in him the tide of emotions. In that impulse, he embraced the feudal lord Magatee and spoke with a voice choked with emotions, ” feudal lord Magatee, I am proud of your son-in-law. From this moment I announce him as an alchemist of the King’s Court. On the same, I too will allocate you a special position in the King’s Court, since by your financial grooming this all has come to a reality.”

After that, King addressed to ex-army chief ” hey ex- army chief! Now you should step ahead to experience the magical phenomenon and then you are supposed to make an opinion of that. My opinion convinces me, this is the first most kind of a unique and rare invention of the kingdom, hence I behest to provide a high level security to this workshop from this very moment.” The ex- army chief at once obeyed the order of the king. Though he by himself was Longing to watch his own image. The clear cut reflected image too astonished him. For long, he remained mesmerized by his own image. Finally his self hypnosis broke and he efforted to come out of that illusion.

For young Alchemist and his father-in-law, the day was like a golden day full of unexpected bonanzas. The golden opportunity that occurs once in life time. Both were rewarded heavily. Young Alchemist to the “Stately position of Alchemist of King’s Court” and feudal lord Magatee, from a common feudal lord to some permanent seat in the King’s Court. ( End of the Part 16th. Cont’d.)
