Unbridled story (Part 20th… Concluding episode ) —

(Recap — In the previous episode of the story, we came to know about the experiences of first batch of five senior most members of the King’s Council about the experimentation with the mirror … )

In continuation to the first batch of the King’s Council, other members too went through the experience of encountering with mirror for the first time in life. since, number of members of King’s Council were large hence this entire process consumed a long list of days. Every batch coming out of the “workshop” with its own overwhelmed sensational experiences helped generate thousands of new mysterious stories about this new invention (mirror.) Some of these stories were real but rest others fictional based upon  gossips.

Since, the use of mirror had been restricted stringently by the edict of the great King Montana Mustachia, hence this edict also helped mirror to attain a position something as very mysterious.The mysterious stories about the mirror were now not confined within the territory of the kingdom but afloated beyond the marches and across the territories of neighboring kingdoms. The great king Montana and his Ex- army Chief, now too had started to apply this new invention as a prominent tool of “special protocol.”

In between, whomsoever neighboring king visited the kingdom of the great king Montana Mustachia, as a State’s guest he too was facilitated to go through the experimentation of this new invention as a manifestation of “Art of the State.” The spectacular but naturally produced a overwhelming sensational impact over the visiting guests. Some of these Kings too gave a handsome offer of price to buy a piece of this new invention if the king Montana be obliged to accept the offer.

But great king Montana always had a suspicion that by this selling of the mirror, the formula of of this new invention too could be decoded by some alchemist of the other kingdom. This doubt always forced him to knock down the offer decorously. With the passing of time, the State’s Alchemist too propounded a theory. According to his his new research, by the help of the mirror, a light might be reflected on the faces of advancing army in battle field. It could be helpful to disarray them.

But after  a deep deliberation, it was concluded, firstly mirror were utterly fragile item and a slight mishandling may turn them to get pulverized. In that case, if some pieces were gleaned by enemy force and by studying the composition of the item, the “enemy State” probably could decode the formula of the making of the mirror. Secondly, the trick might not have been so helpful, if a battle was supposed to get combated  during heavily clouded season like rainy season. Yes, this technique might be helpful in another way to send messages secretly from a distance by fixing mirror on a certain spot in near future.

The main intent behind all this ban was to restrict the application of mirror by other persons and to keep it confined within the walls of King’s palace only. Simple, till the time device was out of the reach of people at large, it had had a furore. Otherwise, once a mystery disclosed, it was bound to lose its all charm. This “splash” of the mirror also helped inspire a good deal of number of youth to manifest their extra- ordinary talent in the field of gallantry and other extra curricular segments. Specially, in occasionally held athlete meets amid various kingdoms impelled youth to obtain first prize. They too were afforded opportunity to go through the experiment of new invention (mirror.)

These youth, who chanced to to experience the experiment, were given to boast about their experience for years to come before the common folk  with a swag. In the eyes of common people their position automatically heightened to a “distinguished class.” But on the other hand, the denial of the offer to buy the piece of mirror by guest kings also generated a seethed ill will towards the king Montana in a concealed way. They felt “let down.”This collectively made them to form a coalition to wage a war against the great king Montana Mustachia.

This led into eruption of a furious pitch battle between them and king Montana. No doubt, the mighty army of king Montana routed them. The unexpected great valor displayed by King Montana’s army too was inspired  by the affordable opportunity to go through the experiment of the mirror for the great valor displayed as such. This plan worked properly to defeat the enemy.

The long years elapsed on. With the passing of time, great king Montana grew older. His able minded Ex- army chief to passed away in a natural death. The great king transferred his throne to his eldest son. The young king but natural was not so matured. Besides, he too appointed his new King’s Council that had many new youth. The grip over the administration too loosened. It was not a rigid rule as it had been in the time of old king. And when when there occurred a break through in the security wall it only needed to remove a single brick at the beginning to give it a shape of a big hole.

The same happened in new regime. On one day, a lightening tiding flashed through the entire kingdom. some precious mirror sheets had been stolen from the king’s workshop. The news in itself was enough to create the panic. Never it could be revealed, whether those pieces were stolen by some one for personal use or for enemy State. The whip of law cracked on, a large number of people suffered from lawful and unlawful arrest by the authority. Massive atrocities were drawn over innocents. But never the stolen pieces of mirror were recovered.

After some months, a new tiding created a chaos. Alchemists of neighboring State had successfully manufactured the mirror in their own workshop. Not only this, to topple the “mysterious world” that was maintained by old king about the mirror; the neighboring State started large scale manufacture of the mirror. Even a lay man could lay his hand on this item. The situation worsened to the level, the mirrors began to get smuggled into this new regime from the neighboring State. On becoming tired by the situation, new king too started large scale manufacturing of the mirror. A day came, when mirror as an homely item was with in the reach of one and all.

In this long duration of invention of mirror and “mystery” that sustained about it for many decades, the drive for the search the drive for the search of “mysterious yellow metal” (gold) went into oblivion. Otherwise also, gold never could be obtained into any lab. Neither it was possible in that past “Eon,” nor at our present “Eon.” After this event of invention of mirror innumerable generations kept pass on in that Eon. An all time well developed civilized and mechanical social system too existed there on for thousands of years in that Eon too.

But as it always occurs, the “Nature” has got its own nature of cycle. On reaching to an acme, everything perishes. Nature by itself does so and brings everything to a naught. The Nature appeared with its dreaded, furious and annihilating force. The Earth’s dreaded movement which today we call by the name of “tectonic movement,”  took place. The entire earth became upside down. Everything drowned and sunk into inundated great flood. The places where once ocean happened to exist, that surfaced up like a dried land and the habitated land got submerged into deep water.

This process kept on repeating for considerably long times till everything got decimated. Then once again water began to recess in a new formation. A new landscape of earth emerged Once again the existence of man began from the initial unicellular amoeba to the last journey of mammal. It again consumed million of years. Thus it was the story of the past “Eon.” It was needed to unlock the mystery of story of piece of mirror which was recovered by a Chinese peasant in our this present Eon, long back just after the end of prehistoric phase of life.

The phase, when man just had learnt to till the land with wooden instruments and knew to grow and cultivate grains and tame the domestic animals only. Barely some metal like iron were extracted in paucity. After thousand years of that very day, paper, gun powder, mirror were invented or discovered. The query was, from where, that only piece of mirror that Chinese peasant recovered came? The answer lies in this story!
