Unbridled story (Part 19th)—

(Recap — In the last ongoing part of the story, the description of “special session”  called on by the great king Montana Muatachia and declaration of some edicts were mentioned …)

ON the fixed day, meant the very next day after the “special session” of the King’s Court, the first five senior most members in the hierarchy of the Council arrived at the old abode of the feudal lord ( now distinguished member of the King’s Council) Magatee. As mentioned earlier, that premise now had been given the status of “King’s workshop”  and duly been merged into the State as the King’s property. Since all these five members of the King’s Council but naturally had a belonging to the “elite class,” hence all they reached there with an ostentatious pomp and splendor. Along with, the “workshop” was under the stringent security of the sentinels, this helped produced a magnificent arrival.

In fact, all these five senior most members of the Council were so excitedly inwardly. They knew not, as to what kind of experiment they were supposed to encounter. They were fraught with some dubiety and uncertainty whether this experiment might inflict some physical harm to them or not! On the other hand, after the dismissal of the yesterday’a special session, already a good deal of numbers of weird stories  about the ” new invention” were afloat. High and low class of people of the capital of the kingdom too were now aware of the experiment and their curiosity had pulled them around the ” State’s workshop” in shape of crowd.

Though due to the security reason, they were forced to contain and stop their gathering at a considerable distance from the workshop. But every one was eager to know about the outcome of the spectacle. All the five distinguished  members  now were ushered with due ceremonial respect inside the workshop and offered the seat. After this procedure began in a well lit room. The same process was scheduled to be followed with first senior most guest as already been followed in the past. Firstly, he was to be positioned at a specific angle. From there, he could watch the other person’s and his image who was giving a demo only.

Feudal lord Magatee presented himself before the new invention(mirror.) The exact image of his got reflected in the mirror. Then he made some movements of his limbs, that too were reflected in the mirror. It was the first step of the experiment. In the second step, honorable guest was scheduled to stand between two full sized mirror sheets. By that process, he could watch his frontal and dorsal images simultaneously in a one go. apart from, by constantly gazing into the mirror, he too could experience the splendid phenomenon  of his images being multiplied.

When this first guest happened to find lord Magatee being reflected into the mirror, in a horror and wonderment pupils of his eyes dilated and lower jaw hung to his chest. A sort of confusion and mysterious emotions overwhelmed him. To him, the main query was, ” how could it be possible?” Obviously, feudal lord Magatte on the one hand stood in the room and on the other hand he had entered into the frame! In the great excitement,the entire body of the guest began to tremble.

Feudal lord Magatee at once noticed this change in the deportment of the guest. He neared to the guest and in a soft voice consoled him, ” This happens, when a man experiences this kind of experience for the first time seigneur! After being consoled, the guest was requested to appear before the mirror.Lord Magatee accompanied him. It was necessary to ascertain, so that, for the first time watching his own image, honorable guest be not mistaken of watching his own image as that of some another person. It was with an intent to create a comparative outlook.

Then feudal lord Magatee queried in a sweet sonorous tone,” Seigneur! How it experiences watching yourself in the mirror?” But honorable guest was transfixed by looking at his own reflection. No voice uttered from his mouth. In a kind, he was caught in a position of self-enamored as well self hypnosis. Feudal lord found it not proper to disturb. Guest was under the influence of excessive flow of emotions. It had to take a long time to come out of that trance. Not only this, further for days to come, he had to remain under the incessant impression of this experimentation either.

Under this spell bound condition, for days to come, this honorable guest was sure to manifest his experiences in a swaggering manner as well. Gradually, to say, when gust resumed to his normal temper ( though in deed it was not so,) then, a chair was brought before the mirror, and he was requested to occupy that. This was done on purpose, It was to produce an impression into his mind, how imperious he looked when ensconced a position in the King’s Council as well as in his home at some public place.

In the second phase of the experiment, quest was requested to stand between two full sized mirrors. Here, he could watch his frontal and dorsal posture in one go.. then he was suggested, if he constantly gazed into mirror, he ably could notice his images being multiplied in numbers. This entire experiment was enough to take guest into the another world. Since, the entire process was mesmerizing to guest,hence it consumed a considerable good time. At the end, guest was sent back to to a distinct place and was requested to occupy the seat so the next guest be entertained.

In the same pattern, one after another all the distinguished guests were received and entertained. all they had some common expressions of amazement and some of distinct nature accordingly. At the end of the experiment, as a concluding scenario, all the five guests were collectively in a group before the mirror. This was done to ascertain them, as they look at one another in real life without mirror, likewise they were visible inside the mirror but with a distinction that every one could also watch himself with them.

This experiment with only these five persons had consumed the whole day span of time. When they happened to arrive at the works shop, it was early forenoon and when they were having a departure, evening had begun to fall. When the Carts of all these five distinguished members reached near the spot where large crowd thronged and waited from early morning, all they  surrounded them and implored to utter some words about the experiences they had gone through. The fact was, all these five fortunate men were still under the hypnotic spell of the experiment, but what so ever they could describe in fumble, they described magnificently.

It was, as if, they were telling a “fairy tale.” Their swag also manifested that by virtue of their being prominent citizen of the kingdom, they had been blessed to go through this heavenly experience. Their description at once helped raised unlimited and unbounded excitement and desire amongst all high and low people. This also helped generate the already existent element of rumors to afloat in exaggeration  about the new invention. As it always occurs with rumors, it changes shapes when traversing from one person to another and then to the next.

On that day, till late evening, people remained gathered at every public place in the capital of the kingdom.  Every one busied in narrating his own version of story about the new invention. Every one fostered a concealed desire to experience the experiment of the new invention. Common people had only one option by the edict of the great King. A clause had been inserted, if a common man displayed some act of valor or extra ordinary deed, he was to be afforded an opportunity to go though this new invention.

Now every common man was highly motivated. Every one was planning to perform some act of valor or extra- ordinary deed, just to experience that heavenly experiment. On the same, still a good deal of numbers of other members of King’s Council were scheduled to go through the experiment day wise. This too had to generate hundreds of new stories about the mirror. On these stories being erupted in the air in future, again thousands of fables too were certain to be afloat in shape of rumor.

Along with, a significant facet too was there. The spies of other neighborly States too were active, as often remain active in every State. They were bound to transfer those stories to their own State’s head. And eventually they too did the same accordingly. With in days the trumpet of success of new invention of the kingdom of the king Montana spread across and beyond the Kingdom’s territory. (
