Whole through in our life, we happen to interact with with good deal of number of people. Even in a day, we encounter with so many people. With some of them we chance to meet for minutes or for hours only, and, never occasion to see them again in our life. But in that “short encounter,” some of them succeed to leave an indelible impression in our mind. In this impression, for some days or years we ably recall their features of face. Though in later years, the face erases from our memory bank, but the meaningful dialogues, we had with them remain alive in our memory.
Imprint of person
Not necessarily, all these people are supposed to have some acumen to remain alive in our memory. They may be “common people” or “below par” in over all appearance. But the “gist of experience of life” they possess and happen to deliver to us, that keeps them alive in our mind. An another category of people is, whom we just threw a glance at them when we are in a journey or traveling in railway car or motor bus. With them we don’t have any interaction or dialogues. But their ‘person’ too get imprint in our mind. It may be because of their appearance. They may be “genteel looking” or “dreadful” in appearance. It’s the impact of Ora of these people and this impression may be either positive or negative.
In the same way, there comes the category of popular leaders or celebs, whom we watch from a distance or hear their oratory. This category too register their impression in our mind. Here the “subject matter’ of this article is specifically related to those people, with whom we interact in life for a considerable long time. In this list parents and siblings are not being counted. Only outdoor contacts are being considered. This list includes our teachers, neighbors, relations and other people in our circle. These are people with whom we meet and interact randomly and hobnob occasionally.
Innumerable count
Just try to count the number of such people in your life. I am sure , if you begin to count them, it will fail you. Their numbers may come up “innumerable” in count. Here you may notice a phenomenon. These people randomly appear in our memory lane. They register their appearance for some moments only and slip away. The reason is, being the part and parcel of our social circle, they have participated to cultivate and develop our personality. Their sharing of information and knowledge in our personality development can’t be ignored by us. This make them appear again and again in our recalling.
Never in a series, we can recollect the memories of all these people. Any when, we try to recall them in a series, some of them certainly are to be missed from the propitious chain. And if we recall the missing one, others already in recall list are bound to slip away. Meant, we are always unable to recall them collectively in a single effort.
But, some out of them ever remain alive persistently in our memory . The degrees of being persistent in memory may be less or more. This process of their being emerged up in our recollection, depends upon the fact, how they interacted with us in our past life. Here, I am not inclined to count people, who fostered animosity or ill-will towards us.
Categories
The people remembered with fond love and reverence, too have got different categories. First category includes the names of people, whom we repeatedly recall in light mood. This category is of “Entertainer category.” Second category contains people, who as a colleague or co-worker been in our contact for a considerable long period of time. Some of them became our “intimate” and survive in our memory persistently.
Third is of our teachers, who had specific impact in our personality building. Fourth and last one are those, who without any interest ever remained as “stand by” to us. They ever rendered the moral as well as other mundane support to us in our distress. They worked as ‘guide’ in hard circumstances and helped us to ford the mire in life.
Here we don’t pay heed to the first category. But the people of second category generate a feeling of respect for them. The third category is remembered with gratitude, since them being our teacher and a significant personality builder of our life. But the fourth and last category is that one, whose slight description in mind moves us deeply and we feel ourselves at the verge of tears , when recalling them.
