On being asked by King, what types of changes Ex-chief noticed in the deportment of young alchemist. The Ex-Chief began, ” O Lord! As I just mentioned how two young trainee alchemist were ousted by this man. That incidence occurred about two months ago. We had pin point information yet the mysterious metal (gold) had not been prepared in any workshop of our kingdom. But the possibilities of discovery and inventions of other new metals can not be ignored. The another major in behavioral mode of alchemist is being noticed from last two weeks. His this changed personal demeanor is beyond our comprehension. Yes. in between this period we have succeeded introducing our two agents in the gang of laborer. But this operational arena is restricted to the outside activities only, since, no one is allowed to enter the premise of the main workshop.”
The king Montana interrupted in between , ” just describe about the strange behavior of Alchemist only now.”
Ex- Army Chief began with the left over thread of the reporting, “My Over Lord! Not only our two infiltrated agents keep the surveillance on him but some other agents also observe him when he goes on his routine evening perambulation. These agents keenly watch people coming into his contact and his personal activities as well. This helps to manipulate about his condition of mental set up and in consequence we connect it with hi success or unsuccessful rating of his efforts. In this series, some weird deportment being noticed in his deportment.”
Here EX- Chief took a pause and after a while continued, “My Honorable King! About fifteen days back, he was in a condition of bewilderment, as if, he was beside himself. For two days in evening time he was found roaming as a fear stricken and confused man. It manifested, as if, he succeeded to find something inside his workshop, which he by himself was unable to comprehend. That discovery seemed to scare him. But after that, his demeanor came to a positive change. He began to move with a felicitous mien, even all the time busied in crooning some melodious song.
He looked so ecstatic, as often happens with a young boy who falls in love with some girl for the first time in the life. We also checked his moved from the “love angle. But it emerged out, he had no extra- marital affairs at all. Otherwise also, such kind of wise man are adopted to live an introvert life. Yes, an another corollary changes too were noticed.”
” What were that?” The great King asked anxiously.
“These changes were, now his hair were always kept well combed and his beard removed from the face on daily basis. Every day, he seemed to shave his beard cleanly. The noticeable point is, such clean shave cane be done by some barber only. A man can not shave himself in that adroit way. Whilst prior to this, he ever walked with disheveled hair and patchy beard. In past he used to get hair cut in weeks. The we took into confidence the family barber of his father in law, who happened to look into his hair cut and beard shave. We inquired whether he was giving daily services to the Alchemist in this respect. He elicited, Alchemist subjected once in a month for hair doing and clean shave. In between, if Alchemist feels a need to remove his beard, he does it in haphazardous way. Not skilled without other’s assistance.”
EX-army Chief took a little pause. King kept on looking at his face in askance. Ex- chief continued, ” My Lord! It seems, this Alchemist too has involved in some Necromantic or black magic or paranormal activities inside his workshop. May be he succeeded in controlling some Jinni and this Jinni seems to help him in person.”
This suggestion too made King plunge in deep brooding. After a little he exposed his position, ” Ex- chief, the fear you exposed about this ghostly power is of deep concern. If he has controlled a Jinni, that might be supposed to put him in great might. We all know, such vicious, paranormal powers as a slave can do many things which are beyond the man’s strength. If it comes true, in near future this Alchemist too can handover this enslaved Jinni to his father- in- law, feudal Lord Magotee. This Feudal Lord Magotee too can create a mishap to my ruling authority. Here again is a loop point in the story. This Alchemist is given to the habit of remaining confined to workshop only.Now you are advised to keep a vigilant eye on the activities of his father-in-law Lord Magotee. Along with, you should give all efforts to find this mystery what helped make such changes in the person of Alchemist. Can’t we agin be sure to fix new mole inside his workshop?”
“No, my King! At present its not possible. Since the past incidence when our mole was caught red handed, Alchemist keeps the main door of work shop locked from inside. He merely moves out for one hour in evening time, but at that time, he locks the main door with a strong pad lock. Our agent has informed us, it’s not possible to unlock the main door in that short duration of his absence. Secondly, the workshop in past had been the old residence of Feudal Lord Magotee and in that way it has got strong devices for security purposes. Thirdly, what ever I said about the Jinni. that is a hypothetical assumption My Lord.
Yes, the very day we come into possession of some strong evidences in this regard, we can summon the Alchemist. At present, any premature action may send some wrong message to entire Alchemist fraternity in a discouraging manner. These youth are harnessed with wisdom and we can’t forget their contribution in building our Kingdom to new heights. Because of their innovative efforts we are above par to our neighboring kingdoms. If being grudged by our prematured decision some of them migrate to neighboring kingdoms, they might contribute to the progress of their newly adopted kingdom. This might be of bad consequences to us in near future.” Ex- Chief concluded.
“Then how come we ably combat this situation Chief?” Great king asked anxiously .
“My Over Lord!” Ex- chief answered, ” as I just said, it’s a hypothetical assumption. In near future, certainly we will disclose the mystery, you need not worry about that. With this now I take leave my King. No sooner a fresh development comes up, I will appear in person with details.” King bade Ex- chief to leave and brooding over the entire reports moved towards his sleeping chamber.
