Why in hurry ?

The Nature by itself possesses its own laws, that is called ” Law of Nature.” This law or tendency or disposition Mother Nature developed by going through the long.. long… everlasting gestation period of evolution. If man begins to “disturb or temper” it, in a while, ( here in Law of Nature, a while, period of time is of decades, since Nature is million of years old in age), Nature replies in its own style. Man by meddling with Nature when obtains some results, he finds profitable to his hopes, he becomes happier without stipulating the oncoming wrath of the Nature. Eventually, his all efforts may turn up into disaster without expectation. Reason is simple, when Nature through its law has already fixed a path to move on and you deviate from that, this may lead your life towards at a verge of a cliff ahead of that is a fathomless chasm only.

Man has already has tried his hands in tempering with the Nature. In doing that, on finding some fruitful results, he too has been exhilarated since it fetched him some profits. But yet, those “decades” in the definition of “a while” not been completed, he forgets that.Though in some shapes, he has been forced to face the evil results of this unwanted meddling. Here is a paradigm of this meddling with Nature, with an instance of mango tree. The natural process of growing of a mango tree is, a matured kernel of a ripe fruit of mango when buried in the soil and on getting the proper climate, after a short period of time a sapling germinates out of that.

This sapling timely transforms into a small indigenous plant. This kind of naturally grown and developed plant begins to give its first fruit crop at least after ten to fifteen years of age. Further this plant too comes to its full blossom at the age of twenty or more years. This original indigenous tree is able to produce fruits continuously for more than fifty years in future. In our India, such type of aged trees have been in abundance in country side and many generations one after another of a family who owned the tree been satiated with the fruits of the trees.

But on the same period of time, some orchard owner developed a technique of “grafting” of plant. In this technique, some twig of  a matured fruit producing tree of a mango plant is given a cut, then covered with mud and bandaged for some days. No doubt, they succeed in obtaining a new germinated sapling at the point of the cut(grafting.) They transplant it at some new place. Amazingly, this new sapling, with in two years begins to produce fruits. At the age of five years, this plant comes to the full bloom regard production of fruits.  But another facet of of the life of this kind  tree is, just after passing a life time of about twenty years it ceases to produce the fruit. It’s considered that as a “grafted plant” from a “matured plant” it already was of the same age as a sapling as that of Mother plant. Besides, it’s unable to survive the full age as that of Mother plant who germinated from the kernel in natural way.

The same sort of devices to gain profitable output, man has applied in various other crops successfully. Like wise, in animal husbandry he too has experimented the “hybrid culture.” Ahead of that, GM crops ( genetically modified crops) too have been introduced by man, but the seeds of such GM crops can only be procured from the agencies authorized to market that. Simply, the seeds obtained from the growing crops in the field of farmer are not suited to be cultivated as next crop. Further such crops too have been proven fatal for ecological system of farming. Specifically in India, B T cotton scam, that at the initial years fetched  a wonderful production became a torture for farmers in next coming years.

To cultivate the B T cotton crop, it required  a new deal of costly chemical fertilizers to obtain the proper out put. Besides, as it was claimed about the B T cotton that it was strong enough to sustain the insects attack, that too proved wrong. Since insects, mainly caterpillar who greatly harmed the plant too developed an immune system in her body to combat the survival. With the passing of time, it surfaced up that such sort of introduction of GM crops was a gimmick of exotic multi national companies to gain huge profit and to damage the agro-ecosystem of other countries, just to enslave the farming sector with a hidden agenda.

Why did this all occur ed? Simple, man’s nature to gain every thing profitable in a hurried manner! Man by nature is given to attain big achievements in a short duration. This tendency of being in hurry ever puts him into a “fix,” but he is not ready to learn a lesson from his past or occurrences of surrounding events. Now to exemplify this hurried behaviour, we need to find the answer of some questions. Is it possible for a man to qualify the entrance example of medical degree course without being in possession of basic schooling certification to appear in the entrance exams. Answer is No!

Firstly, you need to qualify the entrance exam for the medical course, after that you have to go through a long medical course study in medical college. There you intelligence, diligence every thing shall be on stake. After that, on obtaining the ” degree of doctor,” at least you need to practice minimum for ten years as a public practitioner doctor to become a sincerer and sagacious doctor. You need to accumulate  a long experience as practitioner doctor to get you established as a successful doctor.  It simply connotes, to become a successful doctor, you have to invest your money and  golden years of your life up to thirty five of your age. There in that profession, you can not opt for any short cut. The same principle applies for other vocations, be it an engineer, advocate, sculpture, musician or a scholar etc. Every one is bound to work hard.

In contrast to above said situation, at the present time, a good deal of number of people too dream to become successful over-nightly. Again an instinct to be in hurry. A young writer may imagine in fancy  that his single creation in shape of a book fetch him wealth and fame in his prime youth. Just try to count on your finger tips, how many writers have been there of this category? May exceptionally be there some example but exception does not prove the law. The same kind of exceptional success we notice in film industry. Whether such kind of “instant success” has been everlasting? No! Not at all! Exceptionally, luck may favor some one, in certain cases at the earlier age but one comes under the persistent pressure to maintain that “level of success” as well.

To repeat the same level of success, if not impossible but is an arduous task always. From there only, the element of failure steps into the life. Very shortly one falls prey to frustration, distraction and depression. The faster you climb the peak, more speedily you are under the fear to topple down. The law of Nature is, it consumes  much more time to climb a peak of success in a common course. But there too, fall takes no time to bring you to the bottom. When you are trying to ascend a hill, your every step is supposed to be hard, firm and arduous in experience of life. This wealth of experience helps to keep your position “constant, ” when you are at the acme of your career.

Again, in contradiction to the hard working achievement, some people choose forbidden path to accumulate the wealth. They opt for crimes and violence as career.  There also, only those survive for long, who steps ahead one by one and with  a required composure.  Otherwise also, the life tenure of a criminal is always a shorter one. Either it ends up in the “cell” of a prison or been eliminated by some rival gang. In that world, every one steps in, to become to become the “don” of the future without forgetting the fact that the chair of the don is only “one.” When every one tries to capture that, it brings annihilation.

In every field of life, be it politics, scientific, cultural, social service, educational fields etc, the pace of success has always been predetermined  by Nature deliberately. It’s the Law of Nature, ” slow and steady wins the race,” added with another proverb, ” there is no short cut of success in life.” Ever keep in mind, don’t try too violate the “law of Nature,” last the repercussion be painful.
