Fashion may appertain to any thing or style. It may be “entertaining” vis a vis “ridiculous”. Although, in fashion significant factor is “costume.” The psychological reason to support this factor, has got it’s roots in the long running process of evolution of mankind. That period of evolution, lasted for hundreds of hundred years. We may count that, from the days of primal man down to the dawn of civilization. In between the long span, man was forced either to remain naked or partially clad.

It was, owing to his not being acquainted with skill to manufacture the fabric. Whilst, in that long period of evolution, he direly longed to cover his body with something. So the covering,  could provide him a protection. In the beginning, he covered himself with the foliage, then hide of animals and gradually he succeeded in manufacturing of cloths or fabric. But the ““vacuum” in his subconscious mind of being unclad for long, still lies deep inside the memory bank. This vacuum “impels” as well as “compels” him, to be clad protectively and properly. Why for he pays, far significance to costumes.

                                                  The use of “trend”

In the arena of fashion, an interesting term is “trending’ or “in trend”. It,s a time factor; it may be long lasting or ephemeral in existence. As on today whatever is “trending,” may scroll down to the bottom on tomorrow. An old joke is cracked about this “trending” of fashion in Paris . It goes as such, ” A man was speeding fast towards somewhere. One of his friends asked, why you are so headlong? He replied… just I bought a party wear and I am going to attend that party, lest before my reaching there it be out dated.”

The description of fashion, from the perspective of a layman is simple. For him, by putting a cloth in the center, is simply a process of measuring, cutting and stitching by a tailor, to earn the bread as a sartorial vocation only. Besides, a layman takes the fashion as a daily business to get clad . Why he or she takes so ? The main reason noticed for is, he or she is inspired to wear a particular costume, because his iconic cine star wore that in some movie.

When “Rambo- the first blood” was released, many bony figured fans of Rambo, began to walk in the streets merely clad in the undershirt garment and trouser.  Without, giving any care to the reactions of people, who derided their this stupid move to display of body. They were in the delusion, by having a walking stroll in semblance of “Rambo” as “Macho man,” they too looked attractive. It,s the fashion bro …. Penned by — Vinay Pharasi…..
