The concept of “personal assets” or “private property” is inherent, in the nature of the man kind, from the inception of its coming into existence, never it can be erased from its mind.”
When we throw a glance at the advent and spread of the ideology of the Communism, we find that it flourished widely during the 20th century. This entire century, witnessed the spring of communistic ideology globally in political arena. Besides, we also witnessed the timely fall of this ‘ism’ in its own way. During this era, it covered about half the globe. Some major nations like erstwhile USSR, Republic of China, East Germany , Cuba, Poland and Hungry are worth mentioning names in this list. There, Communist regime ruled over the people but in Poland, Hungary and East Germany, but, it collapsed with in a short span of time.
To say, the mouth piece of ideology only
Still, Russia, China and Cuba are listed as the communist nations. But the ground reality at present is different. To say, all these countries are Communist countries. But, not in the original shape of the ideology, with that they begun their political journey at the inception. For example, China is the Communist country but Communistic pattern there is of not of the original pattern. The initial pattern, that was introduced by the Comrade Mao Tse Tung. Today’s China is being run with the banner of communistic pattern only, with the purpose of running the government with the iron rod. So that, reigns of governance remain in the hands of ruling Communist party exclusively to implement its policies.
Meant, no democratic pattern to elect the peoples delegates exist there. Otherwise, the Capitalistic ideology is given a free hand there. It is obvious, by the fact that the good number of billionaires of the world are, now from the China. A fact that never could be think of, during the regime of comrade Mao. Like wise in the present Russia, the communistic rule is not so followed strictly. The concept of holding private property, and, running of business as an individualistic entrepreneur is changed. It is not of the pattern, as it was during the regime of Lenin or Stalin. A Socio-economic-political change is easily perceived there. Although, still Cuba is under the grab of Iron hand, but the aftermath of that can widely be felt in the “standard of living” of people there, that is miserable.
The secret of flourishing of ideology of communism
As a matter of fact, ” theory of communism” is the creation of an ideology of mind of some people from a different class. these people were born and reared up, in the widely acknowledged and prevailing social fabric of deprived class. The common people society at large of that period of time. These people, for centuries been ruled over, by ‘monarchs and their coterie’ ruthlessly. And, this ruling class bled the people white. The thinkers of communism were the basic by-products from this tormented class. These propounders, were deeply acquainted with the psychology of that class. And, could inherently feel the fire of resentment and wrath, of deprived class at large. The wrath, that was,inflaming in the mind and heart of this deprived and tormented class, against the ruling system
Apart from this, subconsciously, deep behind in the mind of common people, the element of Capitalism always worked and played the significant role. Meaning thereby, the “key factor” of the Communism is the “capitalism”. This factor can not be denied or ignored, and, capitalism is the only ‘source,’ from where, the success story of Communism begins. Communism basically raises the voice against the Capitalism and helps fostering a desire to demolish the Capitalism. And, in its journey, when succeeds with the help of mass of people and takes that ‘Capital’ into its control. At this stage, Communism, sell the dream to people by saying, ” now this entire capital is yours collectively.”
But Communism is an ideology, that, covers a journey from the childhood to teen age, to the stage of the ‘youthfulness’, but hardly attains the maturity of adulthood. But, by reaching up to that stage, the Communism, in itself gets trapped into the labyrinth of “capitalism.” It never distributes the wealth into common people, rather, it again goes in the hands of some influential leadership, in the name of “common welfare.”
Major paradigm
To substantiate this, the example of old Russia is an evident one. The public at large were tormented by the Cjar, its bureaucracy and feudal gangs. The Socio-economic disorder prevailed everywhere, that led to the strong surges of resentment down to the roots. This abominable feeling, against the elite class,resulted into “people’s’ revolution.” This people revolution, helped to germinate, evolve and produce public leadership. It was akin to the same prevailing miserable circumstances in other civil societies. This ambiance, gave birth to the thinkers and masters of ideology of Communism, with certain required modification by the new name “Leninism.”
It’s the phenomenal characteristic of the Communism that it only begins to flourish, at some crucial stage. This stage is, when the “morsel is snatched from the mouth” of the man sitting at the lowest rung of the ladder of the social system. Not only this, along with this, “middle class” too get badly effected by this phenomenon of “snatching away of morsels from the mouth.” That is, the acute form of hunger, and hunger is the factor that observes no morale.
Other factors
One noticeable characteristic, of every big people revolution has always been, that without the support of the middle class along with lower middle class, no any people revolution reaches to the success point. Another, worth mentioning factor is, this middle and lower middle class is the place, from where the “public leadership” evolve to lead this struggle. The leadership, strongly harnessed with the ideology of Communism. In the monarchy, the storage of wealth is presumed to be in the hands of “aristocrats” only.
Be they bureaucrats or big landlords or feudal lords, they hoard the wealth. Just, to grab that wealth from their hands, an invocation of people revolution is needed. Along with, the illiteracy too plays the vital role in this mass revolution. For, mass of illiterate or less literate people can easily be commanded, guided and controlled by a specific group of few educated people. Here leadership, with some chosen ideology, added with sugar coated and tempting slogans allure the deprived class.
It’s the significant fact that the circumstances, in the first half of the 20th century were so harsh and miserable. So fruitful, that any ideology that offered for an insured comfortable zone in coming future to people was in a certitude to win the goal. And Communism with its ideology was there to offer this dream, with eyes opened. It’s been the psyche of the mankind, it ever wishes to live an insured and secured life within a comfort zone. Be it the ‘people revolution of Russia’ or ‘the Long march’ of Comrade Mao of China. Both these were invoked, with promising and fetching slogans. This is another fact that millions of people sacrificed their life to make this goal possible.
Dreams shattered
When Communistic pattern got implemented, at the beginning people felt it felicitous. For, it at once, put them into an expected comfort zone. But, along with people found them to live a life in a restricted, disciplined system, that was notorious to rule with an iron hand. This made them recall the days of past with bonded labor and serfdom with certain modification. Somewhere, they took it as autocratic and tyrant treatment.
After a prolonged period of time, people too again began to get fade up with that system. Another fact, the top leadership of Communist party that tended to rule the government, preferred to live the life with luxurious amenities. This, put them to a new elite class, and, when this all came to the knowledge of people obviously they felt cheated in the name of Communist ideology. The Communist ideology, as a ruling baton, was applicable for common people only .
The stage of becoming fade up with the system again helped to germinate the feeling of odious resentment in the mind of people. Since, spontaneity and independence is an innate nature of the human being. Not only this, once people are put to some level of comfort zone, after a lapse of time they begin to demand more facilities or advanced stage of comfort zone. It’s the human psychology, it ever intends to leap into from this lesser zone to another more comfortable zone. This is symbolic of his hidden desire, to become individualistic capitalist.
China’s present leadership successfully comprehended this desire of people and permitted them to own the private property. In the beginning, within a limit, and later on gave somewhat a free hand subject to some conditions. This, resulted the Chinese society shaped up with remarkable numbers of millionaires and billionaires.
Desire for individual ownership
This virtue of “having or owning personal property” helped creating resentment. Mankind by nature is always inclined to live a life free of encumbrances. His this desire, induces him to opt firstly for democratic pattern, and then to become a capitalist. on reaching to this point, the “ideological building of Communism” begins to shatter down. The reason behind this is, man from the time when he lived the life of a primal man, had an element of greed for private property or personal asset.
This greed in the beginning was to store the food for future. But, later on when man learnt to live in the tribe, he began to grab the piece of land, houses, even women as the assets he held and so on. In this way the concept of personal assets of private property got inherited into his genetic code by nature. This genetic code, ever and ever induces or instigates him to revolt against the system that tends to inhibit him to own the private property. And this concept significantly been a vital factor to hit at the roots of Communist ideology.
