Man is born with so many innate knack which often described as quality, so it may be named as innate quality. There are some innate tendencies, we all in common are born with, and some times they are in form of beliefs. These tendencies, if someone is getting through them, meant qualifying them, become qualities. Otherwise, they are supposed to be the “innate fallacies.” Though, we don’t call them as fallacy, because of our innate belief. So this is the reason, why the ‘main caption’ of the article is “man’s innate fallacy.”.
Singular conception
Man has got a bizarre tendency. He presupposes his every diurnal move. His that move is always based upon, some “presumptions and assumptions.” Side by side, he has got some “perceptions,” and conceptualization of those perceptions as well. Here, I am focusing about singular conception man conceptualizes, in context to average life span he expects to live. Interestingly this conception of,“how long I am destined to live this life is “rammed” or “planted” in his mind by his predecessors. This chain of predecessors is so infinite. Although, this conception certainly has become the part and parcel of his DNA.
A written or unwritten concept has been planted in a man’s mind about the life expectancy. This concept envisages, average age of a man is one hundred years long ,and he can live up to that age easily. Interestingly, such a “living faith” we find in every civilization. It has so far been described, in mankind’s Holy Scriptures and sermons of religious teachers. Following this trend or belief, every human being born upon this Earth, ever lives with a false conception that he is destined to live up to the age of one hundred years.
A shattered belief
But, when they are put to a challenging question, put before some names and numbers of people, who lived their life up to hundred years. Upon this, they begin to scratch their head in confusion. For, they hardly chanced to meet any person who celebrated his century of birthdays. Of course in meek defense, they begin to refer the stories. Such stories of longevity, they were related to, by parents about some relative. Who happened to live, more than hundred years of life
Now, you personally try to find some living centenarian, in your vicinity or city. Astonishingly, it may come up that out of one million population, some people were there only. Who reached the age of hundred years. In Indian context average life span (official) is 72 years. Though, some people around eighty years old, we can trace out. But, to find out a centenarian is still exceptional one, and whole through the world the situation is the same.
The another facet of this fallacy
Infested by this concept, every person longs to live a full life of hundred years in a sound and sane condition. So that, with all his faculties fully in his possession and as smart and young, as he was in his twenties. Not only this, he cherishes a peaceful, silent death. He imagines in the way, so that one evening after having his supper, going to good night sleep and wishes to die there in the sleep. This kind of death he desires. It should be, without any pain, trouble, agony or ailment etc, meant the death of a piety or a righteous man. What a fascinating and delusory imagination man cherishes? What a height of shrewdness! How every one of us intends to die in a smarter way
Although bitter truth is, just throw a glance around and and you will find, every person before death remains for a given considerable period of time on his “death bed”. He remains lie there, in grab of many kinds of ailments. The majority of such “bed ridden patients,” are unable to attend the call of nature, without some human assistance. The situation worsens to the degree, even their own offspring get fade up by their long lasting ailment. The same children, for whom the bed ridden had accumulated the big properties . Even, children inside their heart ask god to grant him death.
Of course, one out of hundred, in his old age may breath his last in sound healthy condition. But that does not make a law. First thing, we all, in all probabilities don’t cross the barrier of hundred years in general, that is exceptional one. Even, majority don’t reach up to eighty or ninety years of age limit. A good deal of people are doomed to die around seventies. Another fact is, we all are destined to die as an infirm or patient, and have to depend upon the help of others in our last time. So, don’t run always about the dogmas and beliefs set by old generations. Prior to this, give an effort to poise over and ponder deeply about them. Penned by — Vinay Pharasi…..
