Two facets of the same coin
This is worth noticing that when a person is forced to stay at a place for a given long period of time, it becomes monotonous too him. Being infested with this monotony, he tries to take a ‘space.’ He tries to enjoy that ‘space,’ by filling it with moments of diversities. This enjoyment with diversities helps him to vent out his pent-up feelings.
Here I am citing two instances, which in fact are two facets of the same coin. firstly, an Urban denizen when awakes at the morning, he finds the same scenario his eyes habitual to notice daily. On being wake up, he throws glance at this surroundings, he finds the same scenario which he is observing for years. Same buildings, same roads, same bustling and hustle of the city life. He is used to all this but with a resentment, he is unable to understand why this feeling cropping up.
This monotony pricking his conscience subconsciously. Now a time comes when this subconscious pricking, impels him to sneak away from this ambiance. He plans to get rid of this monotony. Not necessarily, he can afford to visit some hill station or sea beach. He may visit to some place at another city where his kith or kin is staying.
There basically he finds some changes that pertains to to the ambiance of the new location. But if the ambiance of new location is similar to his own city, he would again plan to move from there. In fact, he needs a location where he can find himself with himself. This place, naturally would be the place copious with natural panoramic beauty. Not necessarily, new place should be a known visiting station. This is the first facet of the coin.
In another facet of the coin
Now we take the paradigm of a village dweller. Every such dweller ever remains attracted to the dazzling city life style. But behind this charm is attraction of “materialistic gain.” He intends to move to the city, not by being bored of the countryside life. He is after this dazzling in search of bright prospectus of life. He intends to raise up his living standard financially, he is running after this dream. You ask a rustic man, ever, in true sense, has he felt boredom there? Sincerely, put apart the materialistic gain; genuine answer shall be , no.. never. How that is possible?
The ambiance of city, apparently seems live and fast moving, no doubt. But in fact it’s not so, the city life looks bustling, crowded, clamorous and full of lights but all that is embraced in an artificiality. The major fact is, a man perceives the same forest of concrete buildings. It’s not changeable and this changeability too is deeply perceived by the subconscious mind. In contrast to this, when you are living a life in the lap of the Nature, every day your subconscious mind perceives microscopically the day to day changing wonders of the Nature, that helps provide a satisfaction to your mind and heart.
In the idyllic life of countryside, today you notice an empty field. Tomorrow, it is bound to go through the process of tilling. If somehow, in some piece of land, tilling is not made, nature in its own way bring changes there. Some weeds will begin to crop up in shape of wild vegetation. And if it is tilled and sown properly, you notice, seeds sprouting and growing gradually. This seed, transforming from a sprout to a fully matured plant that after some time is ripe for harvest. It’s a miracle that provides a soothing effect to your eyes with its daily growth.
This factor is not all alone, you find different kinds of insects or birds hovering and buzzing over the fields. At the morning, the view is of another kind, in day time it may look somewhat desolate one but in the evening with the dusk, again it’s panoramic.This entire process provides your eyes a positive perception. You feel a feeling of growing up with that. The man migrated from the countryside ambiance when visits back, no doubt, he too is fraught with memories of city life either. But in fact, he is eager to get assimilated with the ambiance of the village life that he had once left. For he feels ambiance here awaits him eagerly.
